Why I want to meet ohohohjamiescryin
I love her entries. She is funny, smart, and I think we have a lot in common.

I just think he’s a sexy, magnetic, interesting actor. I’m not the starstruck type by any means—I don’t think I’d be the type to fawn over and swoon about any celebrity. But I think he’d just be a cool guy talk to.
So I can spit in his stupid, dictator-imitating, Congress-circumventing, DOMA-pushing, fear-exploiting, unjust-war-starting, intelligent-design-pimping, bible-thumping, right-wing-ass-kissing, ELECTION-STEALING face.
He’s a brilliant writer. Some people might discount his skill because he doesn’t write out-and-out “literature”, but the truth is he’s got such a way with words. His work is similar to Stephen King’s, but less verbose where it matters most. He has such a way of creeping you out that you don’t even mind. A friend of mine actually met him yesterday and I’m insanely jealous.
At one of her shows at the Stone Pony a few years ago. It wasn’t anything terribly formal, kind of a meet-and-greet the fans after the show kind of thing, but it was good enough for me.
She’s kind of softspoken, or at least so it seemed. That was unexpected, given her rock-starness on stage.
Ani is the female Bob Dylan of our time—and with a much better singing voice, I might add. She sings about love and about happiness, but she never lets her politics fall by the wayside. She writes with a social consciousness not often found these days. She’s utterly balls-to-the-wall about everything, and you can’t help but love her for it. It doesn’t hurt that she rocks out like nothing else while she’s at it. I can honestly say she is my favorite singer/songwriter of the past two decades.
What’s there to say? The one online buddy that I like the most and would want to know on a daily basis. Yes, I said it. The rest of you sod off.
We were friends in high school, actually, so meeting her wasn’t as much of a challenge as one might think.
